Navajo Code Talker Passes

Hello All,

It is with deep regret and sadness that we have lost another great hero and legend, Navajo Code Talker Albert Smith.
Mr. Smith was 88 years old.

He served in the 4th Marine Division during WWII.
He will be greatly missed, yet his legendary life and service to the United States will live on in our hearts forever.


The Pueblo of Laguna is respectfully handling all services for Mr. Smith.
A rosary will be held at the Catholic Church in Laguna, NM on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the evening.
The church is white and is located on top of a hill.

Take Interstate 40 exit #114 into the village of Laguna.
There will be a traditional wake following the rosary.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church (same church as the rosary service).

Please pray for his family, loved ones, and his fellow Navajo Code Talker comrades.
