1920x1080 not working on PC

Hi,

I have an lg smart tv as a monitor for my new PC. The resolution is 1920x1080. Out of the blue my pc starting running on 1080x720 so I changed it back on the display settings to 1920x1080. Suddenly I realised loads of my games were running on 1080x720 so changed them.

After restarting my pc everything went back to 1080x720 and now I cannot even select 1920x1080 as an option.

Someone please help!
